Starrcade ‘88: True Gritt was an NWA PPV event took place on December 26, 1988 at the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. It was the first Starrcade event to be held in the month of December, moving from its traditional American Thanksgiving date to avoid competing with the WWF's Survivor Series.
