The Great American Bash ‘87 was a series of NWA live events that took place as a month-long tour through July 1987 in multiple venues across the United States. The '87 Bash tour famously featured the introduction of WarGames: The Match Beyond, an inventive new match format from the mind of Dusty Rhodes. The first WarGames match took place on July 4, 1987 at the Omni Coliseum in Atlanta, Georgia.
