The Biggest Event since WrestleMania III!
The inaugural Survivor Series took place on November 26, 1987 at the Richfield Coliseum in Richfield, Ohio. A departure from traditional WWF programming, the event featured teams of five facing off in elimination tag team matches. The main event featured a five-man team captained by Hulk Hogan taking on a five-man team captained by André the Giant in a Survivor Series 10-man elimination tag team match. As a series, Survivor Series has continued to hold events annually through 2022.
